The new Eric Revis cd, Laughter's Necklace of Tears is now available.
I co-wrote one of the tracks "Assata" with Eric, back in 2005. The disc is great!! Features Eric, Orrin Evans, John Ellis, Stacey Dillard and Gerald Cleaver.

In May this year I will be traveling to Brisbane, Australia to premiere new music comissioned by Jazz QLD to celebrate 150 years of Queensland's independence. I will conduct the music performed by The West End Composers Collective, a ten piece jazz ensemble based in Brisbane.
The gig is May 16, 2pm in The Visy Theatre, Brisbane Powerhouse.

I have just returned from Copenhagen, Denmark, where I spent 4 days at the fantastic new DR Musik facility with The Danish Radio Big Band, who recorded and performed 5 of my arrangements, featuring the music and drums of Jeff "Tain" Watts.
I arranged his tunes; "The Impaler", "Return of the Jitney Man", "PAEN", Blutain, and Michael Brecker's "Two Blocks from the Edge". The mixes sound amazing, so look out for the CD later this year.
